Brief thoughts on ( Greek 3.01 )

There was a time when Weeds was one of the best shows on TV. We're a good couple of years past that time, and it was only through force of habit (and the fact that the episodes are only an itty-bitty 20 minutes long) that I bothered to watch the first two eps of s5. But actually? ( Low expectations make the show feel pretty damn good. )

I recently blitzed through the second season of Greek (or is it the third season? ...but they're still in the same school year! ...whatever). It has, admittedly, begun to lose a little of its freshness -- and unlike, say, T:SCC, I don't see Greek ever making a real upward trajectory in the quality drama stakes -- but I still find it an effortlessly ( Read more... )
