Today I am grateful for the band.  They put on an AWESOME show last night.  Sooo much fun--weather was perfect, no sound issues, everyone had a good show.  We debuted PTSD and got a lot of positive feedback.  And I even felt fine when I woke up this morning!  I was half expecting to spend the day in bed after last week's illness and yesterday's ( Read more... )

Today I am grateful for the kindness in each and every one of my students.  They really helped me get through class last night by taking turns reading the lecture and saving my voice thereby.  I woke up feeling better than I have since late last week this morning, and I know it's due in part to taking it easy last night.

So my five-gallon batch of Chocolate Mint Mead technically isn't supposed to be ready till April 20th.  However, I woke up feeling stomach-achey this morning and since that meant I wasn't going to be playing outside, I figured I'd bottle the new baby.  And the new baby is gooooooood.  Perfectly crystal clear and light gold in color.  Like liquid ( Read more... )
