a glorious noise

Things are beginning to look doable, for the first time in a while. My grades were a holy rout, not that I deserved better, but I did not want to plumb my ability to feel shame in such detail.

I'm in a fine mood, though. I will never say I live for music or any of that, but god damn if it is not mood-altering. All it took was the track Calendar Girl by Young Galaxy off the great pseudo-Stars quasi-mixtape "Do You Trust Your Friends?". It could fill a room. It could fill the mall of America.

I finally put my Netflix queue online for public viewing, so if you were worried, it isn't even an issue anymore. It is long but not nearly long enough, so if I am missing anything particularly egregious, let me know about it.

All I want to do is nap, watch movies, and write glittering prose. Is that too much to ask? I think not.

My driving instructor told me he buys one lottery ticket a day to see if God wants him to win lots of money. I have to admit I enjoy personal theologies like this.

My brother deleted the save file I had going in Super Mario Galaxy. Why? Because he's a little jerk, that's why. I had to kick Bowser's ass into space how many times and for nothing. Nothing. I play a video game for the first time in years and this is what I get.

As much as I like the car I have inherited, it is in terrible awful shape, cosmetically. It almost looks as though it's 10 years old. OH WAI.

I'm a good salesman. Would you expect that of me? It doesn't seem like it fits, but there you go.

Also, politics, how exciting! I'm excited. Joementous!
