I was rather surprised to pick up a new pairing to ship from a Bond movie of all things, but the new Q in Skyfall was rather irresistable. There is awesome fic out there, and I have also now discovered The Hour, a BBC series about an investigative BBC news program in the 1950s. I could also finally watch Bright Star, after buying the DVD ages ago

I watched No Distance Left to Run last night, a documentary about Blur. Strongly recommended for anyone with an interest in the band, I really liked it for many reasons. Apart from the flashbacks to my year in Leeds I get everytime I hear the opening bars of "Parklife", it was a good reminder of how much I like their music (must dig out those CDs) ( Read more... )
