This Monday was the one in every four in which I go to the orthodontist and some attractive, simply but nicely dressed, female Hive member puts all kinds of cool metal implements into my mouth and causes me about a week of some amount of pain.  They're very nice and very cheerful and seem very good at their jobs ( Read more... )

It's been four weeks since the last visit to the Hive.  Consequently, I took myself to Dr. Ross' office this morning for a tightening.  They also added a band thingy attached to brackets of the bottom four front teeth.  This is to pull the gap between then front two together.  Usually my mouth feels worse than this the day of tightening.  I don't ( Read more... )

So, got the results of my x-ray today. It was ...well... not particularly interesting. The doctor says the x-ray does not show any kind of major injury or trauma. It shows I do have a bone spur, but the doctor emphasized that this is common. And, it shows I have a big pocket of fluid, which I already knew because you can see and feel it from ( Read more... )

A while ago, I noticed my left knee made a fair amount of noise when I was walking up steep grades. Well, both knees crackle a fair bit; but the left one moreso.
