Well, from a TV point of view, I've loved this week. Lots of TV shows are starting up again and it's wonderful.
I think I will begin with the joy that is The Big Bang Theory
I find Sheldon with a goatee strangely attractive. It's not like this is a new things for me - finding Sheldon attractive - but, still.
You know, I never thought I'd get a scene from TBBT theory that I would love more than the one where Penny gave Sheldon the ability to clone Leonard Nimoy, but I have been proven wrong. Hearing Sheldon wailing that he missed ComicCon was just brilliant and funny. Then finding out that Penny watched Star Trek XI without the boys there had me squeeing with glee. But it was topped off by Sheldon wailing that he missed ComicCon and the new Star Trek movie. God, but I love this show.
And, god, but I love Sheldon's mom.
Also, Penny refusing to get things going with Leonard until he sorted things out with Sheldon made me laugh so much. And also made me go awwwwwwwwwww
Damn, but this was a rocking episode. It KICKED ass!
I always love Tony but I loved him so damn much in this episode. From the very beginning I knew there was a plan, but for the life of me, until Gibbs said they should send in a couple of agents to scope the place out, I had no idea what it was going to be - you know, other than saving Ziva.
When the bad guy rolled over the body in the room and we saw it was Tim, I so cried out. I also loved how Tim totally had Tony's back during that entire episode.
And Tony holding off telling the guy about Abby until the very end. His way of protecting her. So adorable.
And the new team members were hilarious - first Gibbs makes one cry and then the other is appalled by Tony, Tim and Abby's casual talk of hacking *g*
Ziva seemed to have reverted back to the Ziva I liked from before the whole Michael thing.
I really, really hope they don't go down the Tony/Ziva route, because, really, I just don't see it. Both Tim and Gibbs were worried about her. As was Abby. Tony wasn't the only one and he seemed to be a bit late on the trying to find stuff out wagon.
I liked seeing a less light-hearted Tony. Serious, kickass Tony is definitely a kink of mine. He also seemed to be dressing better *ponders*
And the bit were Tony was recalling True Lies and then points out that he never said that he was going to be the one to kill the guy.
Gibbs being all hardcore. It was badass.
So, as long as Ziva doesn't have a character shut down again and no-one goes near the idea of Tony/Ziva, I think I'm going to enjoy this season.
Also, how many times has Tony been tortured now?
I did kind of love the way they got a standing ovation *cringes*
Still a very crappy name.
I enjoyed the episode. I didn't think it was particularly amazing in the plot area of things. First, there didn't seem to be much undercover stuff. Second, it was really rather predictable.
Their scene shifts aren't quite there, yet. It seems rather awkward.
The new HQ that they have is pretty awesome. Much nicer than the old place. They also seem to have left Louise Lombard's character there, too, because there was no sign of her in this episode. Do we know if she's going to be in it, or is she all gone?
I do love the friendship between Callen and - god, what is LL Cool J's character called? - and how they just know each other so well and know what the other is thinking and the banter between them.
And can I just say, there seemed to be a little something in the way Eric said Callen and the rather considering look Callen gave Eric in return. I'm kind of curious about that. I think I might found anothe ship to, well, you know, ship.
Although that look between Callen and LL Cool J when they were talking about the guy being all bound up and stuff, was fucking flirty. I'm just saying.
Hettie is all kinds of awesome. I hope we see lots more of her.
And I really like Nate. I really love this sense of humour.
If the stories get better, I'll be happy, but I did love the character stuff.
Well, shit, Hotch. That was...brutal. Stabbed nine times.
Jack was adorable. I couldn't stop thinking of Haley as a cheating bitch whenever she was on screen.
Prentiss - I liked her in the case stuff, and I liked that she worked out what LC went while she was at the hospital with Hotch. On the other hand, she was a bit over the top with Hotch. All big open eyes and stuff like that. Slightly annoying.
I loved the way they managed to have Reid sitting for the whole episode, and how they managed to fit in his inevitable use of crutches.
I loved Morgan in this - all pissy because he got woken up - and then just so THERE for the kid. Also loved how JJ calmed him as he started to panic by asking him the way to the principle's office.
Garcia was awesome in this. And I loved how Morgan immediately picked up on the fact that there was something wrong with her. I do love their friendship SO damn much.
I'm looking forward to them catching the Reaper, I can tell you.
I do adore this show.
I do like how they opened it in much the same way they opened the first season:- with Jane solving the crime within about 2 minutes *g*
Grace doing her little dance of glee was adorable. I think she's awesome.
Rigsby getting all pissy because Lisbon hadn't given them permission to go on their fishing expedition was hilarious. Also Cho being so resigned to Jane's schemes was brilliant.
I did love the little talk between Cho and Rigsby about Cho's time in the gangs. Also kind of adorable.
Also, I loved Rigsby's sprawl in the back of the car as they were waiting for Jane to stop being pissy about being taken off the Red John case. Also Cho picking him up after the others drove off without him because he was being all superior was funny and the way e took Jane wanting to look of a house in his stride. Cho is all kinds of awesome.
I can't wait for more.
I still have loads of shows to see. I'm really looking forward to it.
On my laptop, just waiting for me is:-
Castle
Glee
Eastwick
The Good Wife
Mercy
Heroes (although, I have to watch season 3 first - thank god I have the region 1 DVDs to get going with)
Others that still have to start:-
V
Flash Forward
Numb3rs
White Collar
One I've already decided I'm not going to bother with:-
Vampire Diaries (never has the abbreviation VD been so appropriate)
It occurs to me I still haven't posted any reaction post to Merlin or Supernatural. I'll try for both of those tomorrow.
