I'm about to watch Castle and/or Dollhouse, but before I do, I thought I'd talk about Glee, SPN, Eastwick and FlashForward...
Onwards to spoiler land, unless you've already seen them too *g*
I enjoyed it. Really enjoyed it. I loved Jamie Ray Newman and thought Paul Gross was brilliant. You couldn't really get a character any more different from Fraser than the Devil, and he pulls it off nicely.
I'm not too sure how it's going to play as a weekly thing, but I'll definitely be tuning in to see.
Okay, I admit it, I can see why everyone is going a little bit nuts about this show. And it really did live up to the hype.
I'm utterly intrigued by what is going to happy and how it is all going to play out. I'm remarkably curious about the visions - well, not so much the visions but how they come to be. Are the visions going to come true becausde people try to avoid them? Or are they going to happen regardless? Or will come people's futures change and some stay the same? I really can't wait to see how they play about with this.
I'm like 110% sure that the reason Demetri didn't have a vision is not because he's dead in six months. If that was true we'll be finding out that lots of people had visionless blackouts because I'm pretty sure that a lot of people die in a six month time period.
I loved the banter between Demetri and Mark when they were establishing the future time line that Mark saw and I loved the bit where their boss agreed to let Mark try to work out what is going on and Demetri's all like 'because of some hallucinations? Are you shitting me?' That was pretty funny.
Roll on the next episode, is all I can say *g*
And how many english people are going to be in the show? Because we have four so far. Joseph Fiennes. Jack Davenport. Dominic Monaghan. Alex Kingston. That is not a bad average.
Yep. I loved it. Loved it so damn much.
And can I just say to all those fanfic writers who had Sam being Lucifer's vessel. Well done. Nicely guessed. How much of an epic smackdown could this episode be?
They brought in Raphael. That was awesome. And he was the one who killed Cas. Oh, Cas. Cas called him a bastard. Cas SWORE! Has he done that before? Because really, I dn't remember. But the anger in his voice made it so memorable.
'You got wasted by a Teenage Ninja Mutant Angel?'
God, but Dean had some awesome lines in this episode. My personal favourite being 'Eat it, Twilight.' *G*
And Dean straightening Cas's clothes made me squeal like a girl (okay, so I am a girl, but you know what I mean). And then the decision to go to a brothel was hilarious. Cas's face when trying not to let Dean know that he's still a virgin was hilarious and sweet and adorable all at the same time. And then Cas's expression of horror the entire time was brilliant. He just didn't know where to look. And Dean smirking the entire time was just love. And then Cas wreaked it all by telling the girl that her dad loved her. Dean's line about this industry being built on daddy issues was so Dean.
And then Dean laughing and slinging his arm around Cas and Cas not quite knowing what to do but liking it anyway.
Oh, but I do love those two so damn much.
And then Sam. Oh, Sam. I'm glad you met Lindsay. I thought she was cool. I'd be more than happy to see her again.
I did love the look on her face as Sam and the other two hunters talked about Demons and demon blood and the apocolypse like they were perfectly normal. That was very funny.
Looks like Sammy will have to be careful around other hunters still. How do you say I need some time out because I started the end of the world? I mean, hunters were pissed when they let out a whole bunch of demons. Imagine how they are going to be to find out that the Winchesters started the end of the world. They are so not going to be on anyone's Christmas card list.
I really hope that Sam finds himself and gets back on a more even keel. He needs to get back the belief in himself. Because, really, that boy will not be able to stay away from the job for very long. He needs it nearly as much as he needs Dean.
Because I get that the boys need time apart and I think it is good for them. Sam needs to remember himself again and Dean needs to start thinking about himself again and not have to worry all the damn time about Sam. Although I think that he must be worried about Sam but isn't letting it show. You know Dean, definitely in the high court of repression and denial.
Sam is Lucifer's vessel. Not that surprising, but cool nethertheless. Makes it doubly unlikely that it was Lucifer who spirited Dean and Sam onto the plane because why get rid of your vessel?
Also, how powerful is Lucifer? Because he's still able to find Sam in his dreams, even if he can't find him physically. Is that normal? Would Cas be all like, 'oh, crap,' if he knew.
I'm fascinated about where this is all going to go, but I really want the boys back together. I dunno how long it's going to take. Please don't let Sam fall foul of the Devil and be taken in or just lose the will to carry on, as it were. I hope he's strong enough to keep saying no to the Devil.
I don't quite know what Dean would do if he loses his brother completely.
And, you know, the fluffy, slightly romantic, loves happy endings part of me would love it if, in the reunion episode, one of the brothers is literally moments away from either being killed or becoming a vessel for Lucifer/Michael when the other arrives to save the day. Cliche, I know, but sometimes I love my cliches. What can I say?
And Jess came back. I wasn't expecting that. It was cool. Although I immediately knew it was the Devil, not that I think they were trying to hide it, or anything. It was still cool.
Roll on next week, is all I can say.
Holy fuck. They killed Lou. They killed Lou!!! I knew they were going to, but I still held out hope that all that I'd read had been a bad dream and it wasn't really going to happen. It's not an exaggeration to say I was sobbing into my pillow as I watched Spike get more desperate, Lou phoning his parents and then Spike's reaction.
Can I just say that Sergio Di Zio acted out of the park in that episode. So often Spike is used for the comic relief in an episode, especially him and Lou goofing around, but here, god, here he broke my heart. He was amazing. I just. OMG. How is he going to cope? Next week. I both want it to come and don't want it to come because this is going to hit the team in so many ways.
I thought all of the cast were wonderful at portraying their character's grief. But, damn if Sergio wasn't just stunning.
Brilliant episode, as expected. I always love this show. But that is going to be a very difficult episode to watch again, because, damn.
And who is going to be the new team member, I wonder? How's that going to work?
Do I need to say more than KURT!!! I love you.
Damn, but he got the entire football team dancing. I freaking loved it.
I'm still not sure if my favourite bit was the beginning where Kurt and the girls were dancing in his room, or the bit where he was keying up to take that first kick in rehersal or the bit where the football team danced.
It was all quite wonderful.
And then you have Quinn being all pregnant. I wonder how long it's going to be before Finn finds out that Puck is really the daddy?
And Kurt's coming out to his dad was funny and sweet all at the same time. Wonderful. I loved how it just wasn't even a little bit of a surprise to his dad and Kurt is so surprised by this.
And Rachael. Wow. I mean, I knew she was self-centred and what have you. But, really? Quitting because she doesn't get the solo? Does she not get that if they are going to win regionals then it can't just be her who is a good singer?
Although I did like how Will stuck to his guns and gave Tina the solo.
Once again, Jane Lynch owned the screen every moment she was on it. Damn, but that woman is so bloody awesome.
Again, can't wait for next week.
Now all I need to get are V (which I'm not even sure has started yet), Numb3rs (which I know has) and White Collar (October sometime, but really, way too far away)
Right, off to watch Castle before sleep, I feel.
