I'll spam you with one of my favourite pictures of Reena:

Is she not the prettiest, evil little kitty in the world?

Not so little, she's actually 1,5 years old in this pic. All ears and eyes and whiskers. Love!

I miss her these days. I have moved in with the boyfriend and she's now a garden cat. On one hand I wanted her to adjust because I was super worried about her. On the other, I sort of wanted her to still need me but she took to outdoors life like she was born to do it. She had to kick some major tomcat arse at first and we're talking about tomcats who were living there and were 2 times her size. But I've helped things too because I feed her and if they even think of trying to steal her food they'll get a kick (gentle, more like a nudge but they take it to heart). So she's been climbing trees, chasing bugs, birds etc. She's instinctively afraid of cars, thankfully and it's not a very busy street anyway. The weather has been extremely good lately but even if it gets bad there are covered areas in the garden so she'll be fine. I have explained to the boyfriend though that if it snows or the temperature drops below 0 at any point we're taking her home for those days and that's final. He protested cause of his allergy so we'll probably keep her in one room for that time. But it doesn't snow in Athens more than a week in a given year, anyway.

I will need to keep her home or on the balcony for 3-4 days after she gets her booster shots in November 11 and after that she should be covered for most major kitty diseases. I get a little verklempt now that she's all grown and won't let me hold her much. Esp. in front of the tomcats, I'm making her look bad. But they are sweet cats too, they sometimes fight each other to come to me not for food, just for scritches. I'm afraid of catching anything so I don't touch them much but they enjoy gentle belly rubs with my foot. And the boyfriend pets them too, allergy be damned.

I'll take some photos of her in the garden once I get my act together and actually get my camera charger from my place.

Bonus belly pic, this was taken this weekend when we celebrated the 15 years of our company at the Ranch in Sofiko. We were divided in teams and had to do team building crap like a relay race with an egg on a spoon, a variation of bobbing for apples, archery where we were supposed to hit balloons (we were ridiculously close to the target but I missed... still, at least I hit the target so I'll count it as a win) and a treasure hunt which my team won by cheating since we would also find the other team's clues and destroy them.

I'm on the left (the guy is kinda big too but his is a food baby, I think):

cat, baby, work
