So the last two days have been both good and bad.

The good: I finally sent that letter to Ioan. I'm proud of myself for not chickening out on this. Even if nothing comes of the "Save Hornblower" aspect, at least I wrote to him. I'm just hoping I don't get a form letter in response...

A week ago, I learned from following_sea that Ioan and Jamie have both gotten roles in upcoming TV pilots. Jamie's is Precinct 17, a supernatural cop show, and Ioan's is Ringer, about a woman who impersonates her twin sister to hide from the Mob. I have no idea if this is supposed to be a drama or a comedy, and I really think it would make for a better movie.

So after a long struggle to even get to the damn movie theater, I finally sat down and saw Sanctum. This was, as I noted in my last post, Ioan's first major role on the big screen in three years. Was it worth it? No, no, no, and HELL no.

I come back from vacation, hoping for some good news on the Ioan front (a new role, Alice is pregnant, etc.) and instead I find out that 20th Century Fox is remaking Fantastic Four. I've had a fangirl crisis of faith in the last three or four days, and there really is nothing I think ANYONE can do. Up till now, my experience with Ioan hate was along one of two lines;

1. "How can he marry Alice Evans? Can't he see she's all wrong for him?"

2. "He can't act/he's not intelligent."
