Toynami is finally putting out the Beta Fighter!!! Preorders are being taken now on the offical Robotech website. I remember seeing the prototype at Robocon held at AX `05.   Just got done watching the 1st ep of Macross Frontieer, kick @$$!  Good quality of animation, I like the character designs and the music is off to a good start.  I hope something good is planned for the bishounen "Princess Alto", if he keeps going the way he is then I think I smell another Nekki Basara in the works.      A new Macross series will be aired in 2008.  Macross F, (the "F" is for "Frontieer")  It takes place around 30 or so years after the final events in Mac 7.  The 11th colony fleet, "Macross Frontieer" journeys through the galactic core.  A new female idol singer, a new Valkyrie, the VF-25, action, new enemies and they got the same people to do ( Read more... )

Edit: I would still really like to get my hands on a DVD of "Macross: One Night Stand".  It was a one night concert event with EVERY singer from EVERY Macross series/ova.  Due to a horrible licensing web that would be tangled for every performer, it'll probably never happen.  :(
