After three years...
Toynami is finally putting out the Beta Fighter!!! Preorders are being taken now on the offical Robotech website. I remember seeing the prototype at Robocon held at AX `05. I've been waiting very impatiently for it, they don't ship until Oct., so I only have a little longer now. They also mentioned that since this is the blue Mars Base coloration, that the Red and Green, (Jupiter and Saturn Bases) ones will be put out later. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the elusive Shadow Beta will make an appearance too!! XD
In other news, were in the hell is Mac F. going?
Grace is a cyborg, that has been established early on, but what's the deal with all the voices in that wierd matrix? Multiple persons or personalities? She mentioned something about the 500k years of Protoculture history and they showed some weird space ship. Is she an operative of the Protoculture? Does that mean they they are still around and not wiped out during the war between the Zentreadi and Supervision Army? So, that being said, did the first Megaroad colony dissappear due to something the Protoculture did? Hmmm. Ranka Lee is the "little Queen"? Did Grace imply that she was some sort of hybrid Human/Vajra Queen? She sure does have an effect on the Vajra when she sings around them. Augh!!! So many questions!!!
On the flip side, how funny was the Idol-Duel mini-concert that Alto got in ep. 15?! XD Or how about the comparison of Rank Lee to Minmay at the end of ep. 16 and then Bobby said she was more like Basara, to which one of the bridge bunnies commented how "outdated" he was. lol Also, Ranka's phone FTW! It can do anything and plays mini CD's by eating them! XD
