Carl Macek passed away over the weekend. I know that many people out there had their issues with him but I can truly say that it was thanks to his efforts that I am the Otaku that I am. So as us science nerds know, a while back Pluto lost it's status as a proper planet.  The ripples of that announcement have been felt by many.  But none could take it harder than in this pic!!  XDD

For a one shot engagement a bunch of anime movies are going to be played in theaters nationwide.  I'm going to the Bay St. Theater in Emeryville to catch them.  If anyone would like to go I'll pay for the tix, the only problem though is that they are playing them on Thur. and Fri. this week and Wed. Thurs. next week.
