08/27/10 :: Rain just randomly showed up at the dojo while Smoke was sparring and decided, after a fashion, that he liked what he saw and they started sparring. Well, it was fun at first, but it got ugly quick, making Smoke fully aware of just how serious a fighter Rain was. That's good to know, but Smoke still knows nothing else about the guy. Hasn't even talked to him on the journals yet. [1] 09/24/10 :: Smoke finally saw someone mention Rain's name on the journals -- Inara, that he worked for her. He asked about him; Inara said he was her top hairdresser and Smoke died laughing for a few minutes. [2] Only problem was then Rain noticed his writing. They exchanged strained pleasantries before Smoke said he'd go see if the dojo had been repaired. If not, they could always take on some Crystal Golems. Rain didn't seem very thrilled by that prospect, though. [3]
