I'm feelin' like a star / you can't stop my shine [Open*]
Characters: Smoke/Sha Gojyo inthecenterfold et al
Date/Time: After Midnight EST until 3AM and then 4PM forward / August 27th
Location: Melee Island Dojo and Crystala
Rating: PG13 for gratuitous violence and likely cursing
Summary: Smoke is a ball of happy now that the Bodyswap event is over, and is enjoying getting to use his weapon of choice again. If your character convinces Smoke of their skill level (or he already knows it), then the sparring gets moved to Crystala - otherwise, it'll be in the Dojo. Come join, or watch?
*OOC: Please make sure that your character has either taken notice via the journals of Smoke's written invitation, unless your character is the type to go wandering around Melee Island at these hours :)

Smoke was happy, but not suicidal. The only time he'd been to Crystala was with three other powerful people with him, and even then he'd come out the other side pretty scuffed up. So, he worked in the dojo while waiting for anybody to show up, and wrote in the journals between sets.
He didn't really like going up against the Dojo Dummies, but it was a hell of a lot better than getting his ass handed to him on Crystala. Plus, he'd been working really hard while stuck in that other body to get accustomed to right-handed work, or at the very least maneuvers that benefited from swapping hands. Now was his chance to put all of that practice use with his real weapon - which was very different than just a staff.
And Smoke missed a lot of times during this first practice session, but that wasn't the point. The point was he was enjoying himself again, in a place of fond memories - bittersweet, but sweet all the same. And when someone else showed up, he'd go back to primarily using his left hand, because that's when the real fun would begin.
