GM Fun

I have to say, our last gaming session was the most fun I've had yet at being a GM.

My intrepid band of heros made it past the Gargoyles.  They ran, and they rolled well.  All except Guy's (Austin) bodyguard.  He rolled two ones on one of his rolls, so said Gargoyle dragged him over the cliff.  Austin thought I was killing his body guard, but ( Read more... )

1. Awesome. Tim's face when he was describing your cliffhanger to me was fantastic.

2. I love that your group still thinks the Musketeers are just chasing Austin. I giggle to myself whenever it comes up, which is often. I ask Abby and Tim regularly what happened in their last game (it's interesting to see how you do it differently than I do) and I get to hear Tim start in on "Oh, it's not part of the module. We had a fight with the Musketeers who are chasing us because of Austin." My darling husband almost gave it away once, with a cheerful "The Musketeers are chasing us, too!" but I threw in a quick, "You're in Montaigne. I work with what I have." I think I fooled them :)

3. Is Malveck Abby's character's former fiance? Oooooh...

My group is starting Scoundrel's Folly on Friday.

It's going pretty well, I think. The last session wasn't great, but that's because I was sick and by the time Lady's Favor was over was in serious pain when I spoke or swallowed. I'll try to make it up to them on Friday ( ... )

Come to think of it, I think I will have my group take the Necromancer between Freiburg and Carleon :)
