honest to goodness
I know, not much updating here, because not much has happened outside of the norm. Work is the same, stressful, full of disappointment in between stretches of being unappreciated except by a couple of drug junkies whose addictions I must be feeding.
Independence Day I spent at Dan's sister's house, which had a pool, but I was not in the condition to swim. Even if I uhh could. It became obvious then that even as sociable as my brother is (not very), we are still very stand-offish and that made me kind of depressed. I had the idea to converse with strangers but honestly, I don't have much in common with average white American people, even though I'm pretty much as American as you can get. Sad, isn't it, maybe I'm not as American as I think I am.
But noooo, I am American, cosplaying the most American character in the world of videogames. Look at this stunning beauty. Mountains majesty and fruited plains everywhere (not really).
Watched some more Once and Doctor Who, a couple of episodes of the new Arrested Development which was funny-disturbing and not funny-genuinely-humorous - I didn't like it as much. Also attempted to watch anime (swimming anime and Attack on Titan) which were both actually entertaining but reminded me why I lost interest in keeping up with new anime.
However, I've been spending the most time with my new pink 3DS and Animal Crossing! I love it, it's a perfect combination of relaxing and rewarding, simple but with lots to come back to and customize. Currently stuck at Pokemon, and Ryan's been finishing up Last of Us instead of advancing in Assassin's Creed.
