Mostly my latest acquisitions because my face is not photogenic even though I am a mildly attractive person in real life.
Overdue post on Australia shall be followed by a post on Comic-con and A-kon, during which I got to meet three kinda famous people I kinda knew from the internet and who recalled who I was with no prompting, and where I got to showcase my best cosplay ever and lots of folks recognized me yet called me by the wrong name and also assaulted my personal space in the way that only socially stunted geeks surrounded by other fanbrats know how.
Since I was made preceptor for a fresh-faced pharmacy student in their first year of school much against my will, I am not really allowed to quit my job until August, although if I recall one of my preceptors quit work the last day I was interning with them. So I could probably do that. It is an unnecessary stress, and yet I hope my added responsibilities will absolve me of punishment when the pharmacy starts crashing and burning around my ears. Which it apparently did when someone closed the door on a shopping cart and broke the machinery and I had to camp out after the pharmacy closed until the store closed at midnight.
Also went to a graduation dinner. Dan has moved in with Mom, they got a new TV and cable and a different version of our couch. I for one am saving up for (besides a car) some bathroom and kitchen remodeling. My master bath is seriously gross, and the kitchen looks really cheap besides the fridge and sink.
The package from Singapore that the mailperson took back to the post office is given up as lost, whereas the other packages all made it safely, even the one from France. That one that is lost is the one that I've been trying to purchase for years. /heaven help me
