A post of very little interest.
The bad news is that we don't have any internet at home. Or telly (OK, we have the freeview channels, and BBC News 24 is what we watch more than anything else anyway). Or a landline. And we won't until Friday.
This is all a result of the flatmate swap - all our bills, including Virgin Media, were in
sterghios's name. When he moved out, we transferred them all to my name. Virgin apparently didn't like this, and cut me off today. When
Izzy phoned up this morning to find out what was going on, they claimed they had written me a letter, and because I never received the letter, they went ahead and cut us off.
The good news is that they're setting me up as a completely new customer, with the exact same services and channels, for about £30 per month cheaper. And with a discount on the first month as well. Which is nice. I can handle two days of no internet for that saving.
No really, I can.
