goodbye to 2022
My first year of retirement was pretty great - I had a goal to watch a Horror Movie a Day, which I did. Some were re-watches, but most were new to me horror movies. I found some new gems.
I spent a fair amount of time at the Friends of the Aurora Public Library book outlet, taking care of my sections, attending board meetings and working as a cashier. I hope to be a better Publicity Chair in 2023.
Mark and I made it to the Caribbean, and took a cruise to Greenland and Iceland. Both of which were excellent. We also started on the goal of visiting and doing something in each of the 64 counties in Colorado. We went to the Royal Gorge, and we travelled up to Greeley to visit some breweries.
I have high hopes for 2023, but I am trying to be realistic. I would like to continue on my health journey, I would like to read 100 books, and I would like to visit a few more of the Colorado counties - maybe tackle a few of the southeast counties.
