Books by "bad" authors
I just added a book to my Storygraph I purchased at a used book store. And I was looking up the author to see if the book would qualify for a challenge I am participating in, and found out he is a proponent of the Ukrainian invasion by Russia. He is Russian, but being outspoken and really rather disgusting (some of his comments on a radio interview are included on the Wikipedia page), might be a bit far.
So, my thoughts are: do you not read a book because of an author's statements?
It brought up some thoughts on Harry Potter, because J.K. Rowling has been outspoken on things, and I don't agree with her. But I like the series. So, where do you draw the line?
I figure I bought it at a used book store that benefits the library, so, my money went to the library, not to the author, but...still.
