What you do matters
I just read this article (and if you haven't yet seen Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness you may want to wait to check out linked article) and it brings up the point that what the avengers have done affects the common folk - and it reminded me that even us common folk can have more impact than you realize.
You give a smile to your barista as she adds some foamy goodness to your coffee, maybe that simple smile changed her day.
You say hi to someone you see walking down the hallway on your way to the lunchroom - maybe that was the one thing that turned their day around.
You have to remember that when you flip off the guy on the highway, you also can affect things - for the negative.
Kindness is contagious, and it can change a life. You may not even realize how you have touched someone just by being kind.
