ANNOUNCEMENT

Dec 12, 2012 16:12

As I am unable to abide by the changes LJ has implemented and will be implementing to the update system, comment system, profile page, friends page, ability to customise the journal etc, Lyssoizys Press will be officially moving to dreamwidth. It will still be at the same name over there, i.e. at
http://inkwellnquill.dreamwidth.org

For a long while now, this writing journal has been backed up on dreamwidth. Now, I am moving there officially. I understand I will lose the bulk of my readers, most of whom do not want to leave LJ and/or join DW, but that can't be helped. This LJ community will NO LONGER be updated. ALL future updates will be on dreamwidth at the address above.

I had originally intended to only make this announcement after "Adages" had completed its run, but recent changes on LJ have pushed my decision forward.

Those of you following "Adages" will find that the full fic is up on dreamwidth and has been there for some time already. There are also some other oneshots and mood themes there that have not been posted here.

The same rules apply. Membership is restricted to those who apply to join only. All posts except the introduction and the catalogues are locked.

[EDITED, 13 January 2013]
Someone suggested why don't I cross-post from DW to this LJ community when I already do so at my personal journal. My answer is simple - if you read the DW FAQ properly, you will see that you can only crosspost personal journal entries from DW. You cannot crosspost from a DW community to a LJ community.

Someone also suggested that I open joining to LJ accounts and that I send invitations from DW to my existing LJ members. I do not know how to do that. I am a tech idiot. Also, it is impossible to send a DW private message to an LJ account. It just will not go through. Also, it is impossible to send a DW community invitation to an LJ account. It does not work. To be a member of my DW community, you will need a DW account first. That's the only way around it. It is off putting to many existing members of this LJ community, but that is the way it is.
