(Q 1) What does that mean?
It means this LJ community WILL NOT be updated any longer. It means all future entries WILL BE made ONLY at the DW community
This means I WILL NOT be accepting membership requests here on LJ for this community. Please DO NOT comment to the rules page on this LJ community asking for membership to the DW community.
Comments in the Rules page on this LJ site at this page (http://inkwellnquill.livejournal.com/558.html) WILL BE IGNORED and WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
(Q 2) But I want to read your fics / access your mood themes on your DW community, I do not know how to do that if I don't leave a comment on this LJ community. I know your rules say I need to make a comment and I have done that. Why am still not a part of your DW community?
Hmm... You want access to my DW community. But instead of going to DW, you PM me on LJ, add my LJ community, PM me at LJ and then at DW again to give you access to the LJ community, leave a comment in the LJ community just to ask for access to a DW community. Do you see something wrong with that picture?
If you wish access to the community on DW, you will have to reply to the rules page ON THAT DW COMMUNITY. If you don't know how, I will tell you how now:
- get yourself a dw account
- Go to http://inkwellnquill.dreamwidth.org. Find the Rules page on that DW community.
- All the modpost entries are open to the public. It will be easy to find. Look for the entry that says "Introductory Post". Click it, read the rules and post a comment there. Your application will be considered in due time.
- In case all that is too confusing for you, let me make it simpler. If you want to be a member of Lyssoizys Press at dw, make sure you are signed in to your dreamwidth account. Once you have signed in, go here (http://inkwellnquill.dreamwidth.org/298.html)
- Once at that page, read the rules carefully, MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE A COMMENT as per the instructions
- THEN, find the button to join the community. Don't know how? Go to the profile page of that community on dw (http://inkwellnquill.dreamwidth.org/profile), look at the extreme right hand corner, you will see a column with words like, "Join Community", "Subscribe", "Post to Community", "Track", etc.
- Click on the words "join community" and follow the instructions that come after that.
(Q 3) I have joined your DW community. I cannot find your fic index help!
The layout is exactly the same as my LJ community. Look for the banner/header. Under that banner/header is a block quote by Xenophon. Under that quote is a rectangle box. Inside that rectangle box are many tabs that say "rules 1", "rules 2", etc. Look for the tab that says "index of writings" or "writing catalogue".
