This is the third time I am repeating this. I am getting fed up of reiterating this to people who add this community without reading the rules page and replying there. I am also fed up of people who do the following:
(I) add the community without leaving a comment saying they have read the rules, understand them and will abide them,
(II) complain via PM that they are not added back to the community when they did not do (I)
Let me reiterate one more time.
I WILL NOT entertain requests from blank/empty journals. I have had negative experiences with sock puppet LJs too many times.
I WILL NOT entertain requests to join the community if you add it without reading the rules.
I WILL NOT entertain requests to join the community if you do not reply to the rules post (
http://community.livejournal.com/inkwellnquill/558.html) saying that you have read the rules, understand them and will abide by them.
All replies and my responses in that rules post will be screened.
Comments to that post are screened because I want to protect both my readers and myself. Trolls have used computer programmes capable of changing IPs to fake the IP of people who reply in that post. For more details on why I insist on people reading the rules and leaving a comment saying they will follow them, read (
http://inkwellnquill.livejournal.com/172668.html).
Also, my fics are NOT for you if you are:
(1) very conservative, e.g. believe that anyone (alive, dead, fictional or real) who does not subscribe to your ideological and/or personal beliefs is wrong and immoral, and that it is your "duty" to change this person to have the same mindset as you.
(2) prone to over reaction, e.g. "OMG how can a woman who was abused by her dad in her childhood hate him! It's so unrealistic. She can never hate him. She still loves him and forgives him for beating her, and for continuing to beat her mother because she knows that families stay together and love each other no matter what. No one can hate their parents, ever!"
(3) tend to complain about the lack of smut in fics.
(4) complain about the incorrect language usage even though I have repeated again and again that I use Br. Eng. There is no right or wrong between Am. Eng. and Br. Eng. They are simply different. One is not "better" than the other. If you are the type to insist that I use Am. Eng. or else, I put it to you that words like "Either" have 2 ways of pronouncing. If you read it as "eether" and someone else says "ither", do you tell them that they are wrong and must switch to saying "eether" because it is the only correct way of reading that word? Of course you don't. The same goes for Br. Eng versus Am. Eng.
If you belong to any of the 4 camps above, then I will save us both grief by telling you that my fics are not for you because they will most likely offend you.
