I walked out of my therapy on Friday about ten minutes in. I'm so rubbish at doing it that I must be the only person who pays to spend their therapy time refusing to talk. So my head nearly exploded during Spanish class last night. I could feel a headache looming and necked a pain killer before leaving work. I think that the pain relief coupled with the headache combined to shut my faculties down entirely. It seemed like the teacher was speaking a foreign language at some point hah hah. My week has been a full one, in both time and emotional content. It started off in the mother of all storms on Monday through which I managed to battle gale, hail, storm and barometric turmoil to get back to Northampton to see my 'other new boat' come out of the water. I've had two fairly intense sessions with the counsellor over the last two Fridays. It has been seriously and insanely difficult to bounce from them right into socialising and having fun with friends as they leave me drained and shattered. I just made myself pan fried salmon, marinated in lime, garlic, ginger, cumin and coriander with a side of broad bean risotto and salad. What did you whip up for dinner? LOL. I finally have a brain doctor appointment next Friday lunchtime and I'm terrified about going. Even typing/thinking about it is making me tear up so I can imagine the ridiculous sooky mess I'm going to be after the initial 'I'm crazy, fix me' meeting.
