The Hourglass Sweater Beginneth
Originally uploaded by inkognitohSo, the lunacy that is me knitting has begun once more and I think it might work out 'okayish' this time. Although I'm entirely convinced that I didn't twist the stitches while attempting to join the knitting in order to work it 'in the round', there were no other huge issues. Of course that is tempting fate and I'll no doubt frog the lot and start again at least once before quitting entirely. I love the feel of this wool and as it doesn't stick and catch as the mohair did then I'm more relaxed about ripping and frogging to catch mistakes. Most of it is straight knitting so.... we'll see eh?

You could say I'm more than becoming obsessed with my tomato plant but I won't be able to hear you through the deafening roar of my own smugness :) See the one that looks like he's trying to grow into a heritage tomato? He was the first little green guy on the plant and I chopped him in half and ate him last night. Delish soul food.
