Happy Day of Turkey & Genocide
I sepnt my first Thanksgiving without family this year. I stayed in town to go to the t.u. game since I never went while I was up there and Lauren had an extra ticket. My mom went to Alabama to visit Mr. Jerry's folks, and my dad went to Kansas to visit his folks. So i got to eat with Amy's family in Conroe...twice! It does kind of make me wish I had a bigger family like Amy or Chris where you always have a full house for the holidays. But then you got more presents to give, too. We learned the secret to making green beans as good as crack: make them with brown sugar. They were so delicious! And what did we watch post-meal? Not football, but Peter Pan with Mary Martin. Ugga-wugga-wig-wam!
