I like how you presented the two POVs and how it didn't feel repetitive, but allowed things to just flow and slowly reveal and let me fill in the pieces. And I love the delicate, almost uneven, feel of this story, as it grounded a fantastical premise and made it believable, heartaching and sweet.

And the inclusion of Imaginary Friends (Toy Story's Rex?!) was a neat touch.

Hey, thank you so much! I'm so glad that the dual POVs worked for you; it was my biggest concern, the way they would mirror each other/fit together, and it's super gratifying to hear that it wasn't a total flop. Haha, and I'm glad the Imaginary Friends thing was fun! It felt a little indulgent, maybe, haha, but it was good times. I was picturing Toy Story's Rex for sure! But I don't think his speech patterns match, haha, so maybe a distant cousin.

Thank you again for your kind words!

This was so...this was so...ach. It was really heartwrenching. I love how all of your AUs are so fully developed worlds with friends and personalities and issues. Brad suddenly makes so much sense, and Jared too. I can't believe you wrote a romance, that had like, almost no porn/kissing/things that people do behind closed doors. And I didn't even notice until I thought back on it and was like, DID THEY EVEN MAKE OUT? You are a very clever lady!

Lauren! Hahaha, you have already been proven correct about GK BRAD. LOL LOL. Serves me right for not heeding you. I'm so glad you liked the rest of this. Honestly, your notes were so helpful, especially about how there needed to be more driving conflict. I whined about that one mentally, HAHA, but it also pushed me to shape something better; I am very pleased to hear that you think this works more ably. ANYWAY. Moral of the story: you are always right!

This was gorgeous...moving....just so wonderfully fascinating and magical. This story was really beautifully put together and told: the word choice, the dialogue, the details -- the things that went said and the things that went unsaid in the narrative . And the placement of the POVs worked wonderfully! Your writing always astounds me with its freshness, originality, the unique tone and style. Thank you for sharing. :)

Thank you for reading and for sharing your thoughts with me! That is super wonderful of you. I am ENORMOUSLY pleased that you enjoyed this; that you, who has such a distinctive crafted voice of her own and champions other writers who share that characteristic, found freshness in this is incredibly humbling. Thank you, again!

There's something about your stories that makes me want to take notes in the margins. I do that with books - I started my senior year of high school, when I read Blonde by Joyce Carol Oates, and there were so many perfect moments that I felt like I needed to highlight them so that I could go back later and re-read the book not as a reader, but as a writer, so that I could focus on all of these masterful turns-of-phrase and pieces of dialogue and not just experience them as entertainment but also learn from them. Anyway, I take notes in all my books now, so that I can sort of go back and absorb the technique and not just the story. YOU MAKE ME WANT TO DO THAT. I don't know if I'm making a ton of sense, but I'm basically saying that you're amazing and I am like, humbled to know you, even in an impersonal internet kind of way.

ALSO.

Be glad you weren’t around when Mab had Fairy Acquisitions doing brisk business.

MABIt's really late and I have to look pretty tomorrow, sans dark circles and bloodshot eyes, so I'm going to go to bed, ( ... )

Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam. This is random and a dip into mutual admiration sort of, haha, but I was playing around with some rough FNL fic the other day and it made me appreciate your Tyra/Lyla story so much more! That show has such a distinctive voice and such a full world that it's hard to find unexplored spaces and new revelations, but you did it so easily in that fic! I think about your Tyra sometimes like she is real.

ANYWAY, thank you so much! I don't know! You are great and I am always finding new ways to be impressed with you and grateful to you. <333

I am sorry this kept you up but I hope your day today went fantastic!

KIM. I was just talking to kzams about this today, but YOU NEED TO SEND ME THAT FNL FIC. I saw it, bookmarked it, and then you TOOK IT AWAY. Unacceptable!!!!

I still owe you more feedback on this story, so, you know... feel free to wait with bated breath.

Hahaha, oh man! It's not ready! I posted it in a fit of impatience, but then i read it over and I was like, ho, shit. I will send it to you after I take a pass at it! In the MEANTIME, write me more stories about JASON. I miss Street! I used to vaguely ship Jason/Tyra that first season...lol, SUBTLE HINT, BRO.
