In Group Study Room F, Jenna’s study group sits around Table Mark II. Jenna is humming “Daybreak” as the rest of the group looks annoy by her.
“We start a lot of this in this way, don’t we?” Eric asks around the table.
“What? Are you guys still mad that I got a discounted tuition now that Jeff and I reconciled?” Jenna asks.
“Not really.” Madison said.
“Nope.” Ella said.
“I’m more annoyed that you almost cause that destruction of time by going back and trying to make your uncle a better person.” Leo said.
“Well, who’s idea was it to use a time machine anyway?” Jenna said.
They all look at Ella. She shrugs as she fixes her glasses.
“I thought we all agreed the first time that we won’t question that day.” Ella said.
“Still not talking about why you made one?” Madison asks.
“Hey be nice, Madison. She helped in letting us have the room freely whenever my uncle and his friends aren’t using it.” Jenna said.
“Yeah, and who helped convinced you to talk to your uncle in the first place!” Madison counters.
“Can we just drop it?” Eric asks. “Because of that day, Brett kicked me out of his apartment and now I’m living in the YMCA. I’m pretty sure I lost more clothes there than I did during my time at summer camp.” Eric said.
“Hey man, don’t worry. If you want-” Leo said before he stops in midsentence as he notices someone outside. “I’m not here.” He said as he quickly hides under the study table.
The group looks confuse as a short old Korean woman stops by the entrance of the study room. The group takes notice of her. She stares at them before walking away. Leo slowly peak up to see if the woman was gone.
“Who was that?” Jenna asks.
“My mom. She’s probably here to get me to come back to work at the family business. I got to hide.” Leo said. He leaves the room from the back entrance.
“Well, it looks like I found out what we need to do today.” Madison said.
“Can we not? Does everything we do have to involve our family?” Eric asks.
“I’m on Eric on this one. I would rather we do something like take classes, school activates or study math for once.” Ella said.
“Fine, we won’t need your help for this.” Madison said as she gets up. “Come on, Jenna.” She said. Jenna looks at Madison with a surprise look.
“Why do I have to come?” Jenna asks annoy for being dragged into something.
“You just got back with your uncle. You know what it like in these situations. Come on, let’s go.” Madison said as she leaves the room.
“Someone got you on a tight leash.” Ella said.
Jenna groans. “I think I might move to the dorms when one opens up.” She said. “Don’t tell her that.” She whispers to them.
“Jenna, come on!” Madison shouts out from outside the room.
Jenna groans again as she leaves. Eric and Ella are quiet for a moment as they stay seated.
“So, you want to organize a school dance?” Eric asks.
“Can I play Big Time Rush songs in this dance?” Ella asks.
“Umm, yes.” Eric said.
“Okay, let’s get started then.” Ella said.
They get up and leave.

Madison and Jenna are walking down the hallway as they search for Leo.
“So even if we find him, what makes you think that he would be okay with us meddling into his family’s problems?” Jenna asks.
“Cause we’re his friends and he already knows that we would.” Madison said.
“That doesn’t make you, Dr. Phil. For all we know, we could be doing more harm than good.” Jenna said.
“Jenna, has it ever occur to you that getting involve in Greendale is a good thing?” Madison asks.
“You know that is a trick question.” Jenna said. They stop by one of the lockers.
“Which means, Jenna. You already know the answer.” Madison said. She starts knocking at the locker. “Alright Leo, come on out. We know you’re in there.” She said.
Leo comes out of the locker.
“Seriously, how did you find me?” Leo asks.
“I saw Brett go into one of these. Also, this is your locker.” Madison said.
“Come on, Leo. You know how forceful she gets about these things. Let’s go meet your mom.” Jenna said.
Leo shrugs. “Fine.” Leo said as he gets out of the locker. They start walking.

In the cafeteria, Ella and Eric are setting up decorations for a dance. Ella is on a ladder, put of a banner. Eric is moving tables around. Dean Pelton walks in, focus entirely at a clipboard of papers.
“So it looks like all the paper work is in order.” Dean Pelton said. He takes his focus off the clipboard. He looks and sees Eric and Ella. His face shows displeasure by this. “Oh it’s THIS study group.” He said.
“What’s that supposes to mean?” Eric asks.
“I don’t think you know but seeing how much damage your predecessors did during their little dance last year, I put you guys under my Dean Danger List.” Dean Pelton said. He shows the two his phone which has a list of names on it. “This list has all the people in Greendale minus Jeff and his friends, ranked in a system that allows me to determine how much chaos that person can cause. It’s so I know who to blame in case there’s another the school is shutting down situation. Currently Chang is 1st but you guys are starting to get into the top 30s.” He said.
“Come on, Dean. You can’t just assume we would do anything like that.” Ella said as she gets down the ladder.
“Yeah it’s only our first year and this list is seriously inaccurate.” Eric said.
“Seriously it is. You have Magnitude ranked as number 5.” Ella said looking at the phone screen. “What is he going to do? Pop, Pop the school?” Ella asks.
“Also isn’t this harassment to students, like us.” Eric said.
Ella mouths out a “what” to Eric. Eric motions her to go along with it.
“Okay.” Dean Pelton said as he sighs. “I can see how this can look unfair to our students. But mark my words by the end of the year there is going to be another situation like before and I don’t plan to get stuck in a dusty basement again without the confront of Jeff Winger.” He said as he puts his phone away. “Can I at least know the theme so I won’t have to worry about anyone filing another lawsuit?” He asks.
“Well I was thinking maybe a bear-” Eric said before Ella quickly taps his head.
“Too soon.” Ella tells Eric. Dean Pelton raises one of his eyebrows at them. “Our theme? Well, it’s…” Ella quickly shuts her eyes as she thinks of a possible topic the Dean would like. “All aboard the Greendale Soul Train!” She shouts out.
She opens her eyes as the Dean stands there, thinking. “I like it. Good luck with the dance.” Dean Pelton said as he leaves.
Eric looks at Ella. “All aboard the Greendale Soul Train?” he asks.
“It was either that or Dalmatians. I don’t plan to spend the whole day putting a hundred and one decorations of that around the cafeteria.” Ella said.

The short Korean woman sits down at Table Mark II. She is sitting next to Leo as he looks worry by her. Jenna and Madison are sitting in their respective seats as they watch.
“Thank you for coming, Mrs. Lee” Madison said.
“Not a problem. It’s good to see you again, Leonardo Monte Lee.” Mrs. Lee said.
“Monte?” Jenna and Madison said together confuse.
“My parents are really into art.” Leo tells them. He stops for a moment. “Wait a minute. Did you guys think my middle name would be Asian?” He asks them.
“Ummm.” Jenna and Madison said together. They try to hide the fact that they did.
“Racist.” Leo said.

In the cafeteria, Eric and Ella finish their decorations for the dance. Eric and Ella take a moment to admire their work.
“Looks pretty good.” Eric said.
“Yeah.” Ella said in approval.
“Now all I need is to wear something that reeks of 70’s funk.” Eric said.
“Here.” Ella said. She takes out a key from her pocket and gives it to him. “This is the key to the drama department’s costume wardrobe. If Professor Garrity asks, just say you got it from Garrett.” She said smiling.
“Thanks, you’re a lifesaver.” Eric said as he leaves. Ella smiles.

“Come back to the family business now!” Mrs. Lee demands to Leo.
“No!” Leo said.
“If you don’t, I’m not paying for your tuition.” Mrs. Lee said.
“You don’t even pay for my tuition.” Leo counters back.
Madison moves close to Jenna. She whispers to her, “At least they’re not arguing in another language.”
“You! Stop being racist.” Mrs. Lee yells at Madison.
“Sorry.” Madison said.
Jenna shakes her head at the trouble Madison has caused. Leo and his mom continue arguing as a ringing sound comes from Jenna’s back jean pocket. They stop arguing for a moment. Jenna takes out her new cell phone from her pocket. She looks at the text that Ella has sent her. She then looks at Leo and his mom.
“Okay, as much I would like to see a good unique argument between mother and son, I’m going to have to intervene. Mrs. Lee, Leo isn’t coming back to work at your place because he doesn’t know what he wants to do in life. He’s in Greendale because he is confuse with his life and putting him in a dead end job now is only going to make your son suffer in the long run. He needs to know what he wants to be, before you decide if you want him.” Jenna said.
Mrs. Lee and Jenna stare off each other. Finally Mrs. Lee sighs. “Alright, I’ll get your cousin Bart to work in your place for now.” She said to Leo. Then in Korean, she tells him, “이게 끝이 아니다.” Leo’s eyes widen, taken aback by this. This is not over.
Mrs. Lee gets up and leaves the room. “Alright Jenna.” Madison said as she gives Jenna a high five.
“I hate your logic.” Jenna said.
“But you believe in it.” Madison said smiling. “So what was the text about?” She asks.
“Ella texted me to finish this up. Apparently she and Eric made a dance for tonight, 70’s funk attire.” Jenna said.
“Ohh, a 70’s dance.” Madison said. Jenna and Madison get up from their seat as they get ready to leave. Leo stays in his seat, thinking about his mother’s words. “Are you coming Leo?” Madison asks.
“Yeah, just give me a moment.” Leo said. He looks at the table for a moment. Jenna and Madison start to leave. “Hey Jenna.” Leo calls out. Jenna turns around. “Thanks.” He said as he smiles.
“No problem.” Jenna said smiling. Madison and Jenna leave as Leo looks on at them.

At the cafeteria, the dance is in full swing. Everyone in the cafeteria is wearing 70’s dance attire. Madison is wearing a lilac disco dress. Jenna is wearing a silver disco dress with designer heels. Ella is wearing a red dress similar to what was wore by Stephanie in Saturday Night Fever. They are on the dance floor, dancing.
“Nice dance.” Jenna said to Ella.
“Thanks.” Ella said.
“Hey, have you seen Eric?” Madison asks.
On cue, people in the dance floor cheer and move aside as Eric comes walking in dress like John Travolta from Saturday Night Fever. He starts showing off his dance moves to the crowd. Jenna, Madison and Ella are amaze by his moves.
“Wow, guess the drama department did a version of Saturday Night Fever.” Jenna said.
“And look who’s dress up as Stephanie. Later girls.” Ella said smiling. She walks up to Eric. She presents her hand to him as he accepts. They start dancing together. Jenna and Madison are surprise by this.
“Well, that was a twist.” Jenna said. Madison bites her lower lip as she watches Ella and Eric dance. Jenna notices this. “Come on, play nice. Let’s go get some punch.” Jenna said as she nudges Madison’s shoulder. They move away to the punch bowl. Eric and Ella continue dancing together. As they dance, they talk to each other.
“So, Eric.” Ella said.
“Yeah.” Eric said.
“I was wondering because I kind of cause you to be homeless because of our little time adventure. I was wondering if I can help fix that.” Ella said.
“How?” Eric asks curiously.
“Well, my parents have a guest room. It’s not much but I think it’s better than buying new clothes every day.” Ella said.
“Hmm, I’ll think about it.” Eric said.
“Also, you did tell me you’ll play some Big Time Rush music.” Ella reminds him. “Don’t leave your lifesaver adrift.” Ella said. They smile at each other.
By the punch bowl, Leo is wearing a costume in homage to Austin Powers. He is taking a sip of punch.
“You do know that Austin Powers is from 1967 right?” Jenna asks as she and Madison walks up to Leo.
“It’s not a big deal. Nobody is going to notice.” Leo said.
“Hey loser, you know that Austin Powers was from the 60's right?” Leonard shouts out to Leo.
“Shut up Leonard! Everything about you smells like the 60's!” Leo shouts back.
Leonard blows raspberries at Leo as he continues dancing. “Hey, you okay?” Madison asks. “You’ve been like this since we left.” She said.
“It’s nothing. I just never thought I’ll see someone defend me against my mom before.” He said.
“That’s what we’re all here for.” Jenna said. The two smile at each other. “Come on. Let’s dance.” She said. They all leave the punch bowl as they hit the dance floor.
