Out of the frying pan...

The water saga continues.

Digger's hotline has been out to mark the ground but thus far, nothing has happened. The well has enough water for a toilet flush then goes dry. No kidding. I've been showering at my parents house and getting dog/cat drinking water from the clinic in gallon containers.

Now...the level of the pool is too low to run the filter without burning it out. Which resulted in 1) minimal to no vaccuming and 2) a light algae growth on the sides of the pool. We're down almost a foot of water since I haven't been able to replentish it. I'm having water trucked in later today and as such called my dad to try to help me get some of the crap out of the pool. If I'm paying for a semiload of water, I'm GETTING a semiload of water and taking the crapwater out. I purchased a new filter and will install that as well. I'm paying my dad to help because I just don't have enought hours in the day anymore. I'm stressing.

Yesterday's cross country was cancelled (I did a bit of solo flight instead)) and we are having trouble rescheduling it because of "alice". Right now it is at noon thursday. I let the cat clinic know I might be late-plan is to work until noon, cross country 3 hours, get to clinic for appointments 3:30. If I do not hit traffic It'll all be fine. Being on the 894 bypass at 3PM makes 'no traffic' unlikely. Ugh.

Tech issues for Alice are coming together. Now if I can get my actors to stop acting like 3 year olds...

I may be putting one of Carol's dogs to sleep today. I have NO idea when I will squeeze it in, because of corse I will need to go to her house to do it and the family has zero concept of time. Most likely it will be at least a 2-3 hour ordeal...and most likely I will be expected to transport the body for cremation. I already told her it would have to be after 'Alice' and that I did not know how late that was going to run. I hate that my family waits until an animal is critical and then has an 'emergency euthanasia' which I am expected to accomodate. Sigh.
