Two of my friends have lost a friend this past week, through weird or stupid circumstances.

So, we finally finished Firefly. I wish there was more. I'm going to have to try to get tickets to the next screener. Matt, what was that website again? I just can't figure out how the folks at Fox didn't see the merit in that show. It was amazing. I think I like it as much as Farscape, and that's saying something.

Well, as I expected, Grace passed away this weekend. It was unavoidable, so I was prepared. I am glad that I went to see her before she died. Poor Meg. (not me. Grace's daughter Meg.) I guess that means I have a wake/funeral to go to. jeez ( Read more... )

wow. i wouldn't have thought so many people would reply to my last post.

as it happens, as i was writing it i felt so wrong inside, that i called my mother to ask her is she could push back the time she was planning to leave by half an hour. that gave me just enough time to get ready, get to South Station and catch the next train to Attleborro.
