One thing about Ft. Myers (and many places I've been to with a white majority) is that the people are quite friendly.
However, sometimes some people (mostly girls) seem to say hi-wave back in a way/tone/manner that is like if they know me (or so I percieve it that way). Yet, I have no recollection of ever meeting these people. Maybe it's because they're friendly...
Yet, one odd/surreal thing happened while I was washing my clothes. Went I opened the dryer I found a polo shirt that I surely didn't have. I'm not even sure if it was in my hamper basket previously when I placed it to wash (so maybe someone left it behind in the dryer I was using) but it just increase my paranoia. Mostly, it's based on the thought that maybe I'm developing a split personality I don't know of "a la Fight Club."
Nevertheless, I somewhat enjoy oddity and surreality in life and probably will be seeing a lot of it while living in college.
