34 ... Go ... (dvd) A film that I found kinda weird, a girls dealer goes out-of-town so she attempts to score directly from her dealers dealer. That's when things get twisted because the way it almost goes down. I'm not articulating this well, I know, but I don't want to spoil the story. It's interesting because it shows the story from different people's perspectives... ala Run Lola Run. 2/5
35 ... Manhattan ... (dvd) Woody Allen, Diane Keaton star in this well-known Woody Allen film. It's a comedy/drama with the trademark Woody Allen sarcasm and wit. Allen's character is an unhappy NYC dweller who finds imperfections in everything, and he constantly vocalizes it. He doesn't want to commit himself to a 17-year old girl he's been dating, so they separate. His good friends' girl friend and he begin to spend time together, and they seem to enjoy each others company. But circumstances shift and Allen takes an emotional hit. The characters and dialog are well developed. 4/5
36...Cool World ... (dvd) Detective Frank Harris (a very sexy Brad Pitt) falls from our world of Noids (humans) into a world of Toons where he meets Holly (Kim Basinger) who is quite volumptous as a Toon. Her creator (artist) Jack Deebs falls into the Toon World as well and there is sexual tension between them as they evolve to Las Vegas, where all realities shift. Holly turns into a Noid after doing the nasty with Jack, and Harris follows them to bring back the balance between both worlds. The soundtrack is one of the BEST EVER !!! 4/5
37... Fight Club ... (dvd) Brad Pitt is Tyler Durden and Edward Norton is the narrator who finds himself with a severe bout of insomnia. In his different aspects thru his unsatisified living he meets Tyler Durden. Tyler is a well put-together, handsome, successful, independent, non-corporate dude that our narrator just admires. Through twists and turns of the story, Mayhem begins to unfold and after the first time you watch this... you'll likely say to yourself "I have to see this again." One of the best quotes of this film::: "Is Tyler my bad dream or am I Tylers?" 4.5/5
