Yes, I know it was a week ago but I'm never good about posting about things right after they happen.

We had a great weekend.  I baked a mini sized feast and have also already gone through almost all the leftover turkey from a 16 pound turkey that the 3 of us didn't get around to eating.  All that is left is some white meat for 2 more sandwiches ( Read more... )

We went to Port Angeles and had a really great time.  There was a cute small town parade, street vendor hot dogs, a nice little fireworks show, and ferry rides.

The fireworks is on the edge of the bay every year and we sat on the grass near the bay right in front of The Red Lion Inn.  I am going to call and make reservations for next year for  ( Read more... )

We're going camping tonight and ya know how things are suppose to be really laid back and not a big deal?  Well it was that way up until about five minutes ago for me.  Now I am thinking I will only have a couple hours to get ready tonight as we are leaving at noon from work tomorrow.

Monday I had to register Dominick for summer vacation at the BGC and pay a deposit for every week that he will be there so we had to consider our summer plans already!  We don't travel a lot so it isn't like we are taking a three week trip to France or anything but I am pretty excited with what we have come up with so far.

I think the last time we went out to dinner as a family was almost a year ago.  We don't go out often obviously.  Dominick has been asking for a long long time to go out so I finally said yes.  He chose this  restaurant that we drive by everyday on our way to school because they have pizza.  I'm not sure what I am going to get but a veggie calazone ( Read more... )

 It was a blast!  The kids got along and were well behaved for the most part.  By the last day they had had enough of it but 4 days of walking and crowds and walking some more can really get to ya!  These are in no particular order whatsoever.  Enjoy!
