Admittedly they had a lot to squeeze into this episode, and did it pretty efficiently.
But PPP doesn't work like that...
I rather like the new girl, though I do wish they hadn't put her in a pelmet and her parroting of what the computers tell her reminds me irresistibly of the Sigourney Weaver character in Galaxy Quest "Look! I have one job on this lousy ship, it's *stupid*, but I'm gonna do it! Okay?" She is going to have to be more than a glorified sat-nav in future shows.
A tazer that can take out a T. Rex? Has anyone told the military about this? (Whoever wrote the science in this show knows sod all about the potential effects of this new tech. Room Temperature superconductors indeed! It'll be fusion next.)
I do hope that this is a set-up of an alternate military universe.

The creature effects in the past sequences are pretty good, but if you're going to have a dino walking around among buildings that cast very obvious shadows it would be a good idea to have it cast a shadow too.
I had the subtitles on. Otherwise would not have recognised the music in-joke in the arena.

Suddenly I love Becker. He was a bit of a cypher before, but I look forward to him decking Matt in future. Frequently.
Conclusion - will keep watching for the dinos, in the hope that the new guys are eventually creamed by the old team (go Lester!).
