you might be thinking to yourself"brackets brackets brackets...matt, why do you put brackets around everything you have on your page, as well as the stuff you single-handedly design?!" -reader. well, reader, its a thing commonly called a "hook", or a "gimmick". its a trick that musicians or aspiring web designers employ to keep their listeners or readers coming back to their page or coming back to their shows. since i wish to be both, i use them to my advantage in both fields. many times ive been out and about and ill get:
"hey, youre the kid with all the brackets on his page. dont you cleverly incorporate them into the logos you single-handedly design as well?"
the answer is a resounding "yes". proof positive that i have effectively "hooked" actual citizens into at least inquiring as to who i am and what the band im in is all about. i hope this clarifies a few things, reader, and maybe youll be doing a little "hooking" of your own in the near future. goodnight everyone, and stay tuned for upcoming installments.
