So I was running a little late today as I got on my coat and went out into the below-freezing weather this morning. I tried to scrape the ice off the windows of my car, but it didn't really work. So my mom got some hot water for me and poured it over the ice to melt it off. Upon unlocking my doors, however, I realized that they were kind of frozen shut. With some effort, I got them open and drove to school with my hands freezing on the wheel. The water that melted the ice off my windsheild began to freeze over, so it was a bit hard to see, and anyway for some reason I decided to go to the lot entrance that they told us would be closed--kinda forgot. Then I went all the way back to Linda Vista thru North campus and found that there were only about 2 cars in the parking lot. I thought, "that's weird." Then as I walked towards the Fine Arts building, I ran into Mariana, who told me that the administration said that school was CANDELLED on this oh-so-beautiful 5,000 below zero degree day!!!
NO SCHOOL! It's like a snow day... except without the snow. Well, there's snow at higher elevations, and on the mountains. But yeah, pretty crazy. I FREAKIN LOVE LIFE SOMETIMES. Oh, gosh this makes my life, I can't even explain it!!!!
I think I'm gonna sleep. Or maybe call some friends to celebrate.
