It's been a while
I apologize for the lack of updating. Life has been awesome the past few months, I have no complaints. Work is chill and I have more time for hobbies and friends. I got a new Mac Mini and it has this comic book program that can make some pretty cute/cheesy comic strips with my pictures. I thought, Awesome! I will now blog everything in comic strip form! It might take a little effort, but I'll see what I can do. I made one of this Napa winetasting tour I went on with my coworkers (Thank you PwC for footing the bill), but it's really not that interesting. Not much room for stupid captions and such, but it was the best that I could do.
My cool friend Hellen who I've known since junior high has sort of welcomed me into her group of Berkeley friends. Well, not really welcomed, but I kind of crash on their gatherings here and there. Those Berkeley kids are hardcore partiers! I can't hang with them. But it's been pretty awesome, to be welcomed into a whole group of friends who are all really nice. They smoke weed with me too, whch makes me happy. I saw a free Raconteurs show at Amoeba last Thursday, while high with Hellen's friend Alex and I gotta say, that was pretty cool, except I almost fell asleep while standing up.
I also hung out with Thai (junior high ex) at the Haight Street Fair for a little while.
Haight Street was crazy packed.
Me and Thai liked this guy's man purse. His guy friend had a clutch under his arm, but we couldn't get a shot of that.
Thai was hungry. We had Asqew for dinner, which is the cheapest BBQ I've ever had.
Anyways, I am going to Cancun next week with my bro. I know, it sounds really weird, but we're looking forward more to the Mayan pyramids, beaches, golf, jetskiing and NOT the spring break scene (cuz it's summer and that would be really weird with my bro). Our conversation today went like this:
Me: So I got my period today, it's a good thing.
Bro: Thanks for telling.
Me: See, I won't get it while I'm in Cancun! I usually get my period when I'm on vacation.
Bro: Uhh, ok.
Me: One of my friends told me that God was steppin in, making sure that I wasn't going to get into trouble on these trips.
Bro: (Silence... probably praying at the moment that I DO NOT get into trouble while we're in Cancun)
