Finally had a decent length vacation last week and still in vacation mode. After getting sunburned at my bro's graduation from UCSD, I went to DC, NJ, and NYC. Here's a pictorial recap of my trip.

Due to the lack of snow, we decided to skip out on hitting the slopes today. Also, there were some big college football games to watch (Ohio St vs Michigan, USC vs Cal). Unfortunately, there hasn't been too much snow at Mammoth yet. Last year, there was a shitload of snow at this time of year. I think it might be global warming. That movie, "An Inconvenient Truth" scared the hell out of me. But the good people at Mammoth have managed to make things decent for opening day.

The guys I work with had to study for the CPA exam, so I was on my own. I checked out a bunch of lakes this weekend. It was ok I guess. But Desperate Housewives was even better. And people who died on the show were people that I didn't like, unlike Lost. I miss Eko.

Being stuck in Mammoth, my latest weekend trip was to visit the highest point in the 48 states, Mt. Whitney, and the lowest point in North America, Death Valley. Turns out Mt. Whitney was the low and Death Valley was the high of the day.

My 5 week assignment at Mammoth Mountain is pretty cool because once the snow starts I'll be able to snowboard. This trip has also exposed me to activities I probably wouldn't normally do (AKA outdoor nature activities).
