Mammoth pictures
Unfortunately, there hasn't been too much snow at Mammoth yet. Last year, there was a shitload of snow at this time of year. I think it might be global warming. That movie, "An Inconvenient Truth" scared the hell out of me. But the good people at Mammoth have managed to make things decent for opening day.
There's the main run on the right. They've been blowing snow all night like crazy to get enough snow on the run. On the left, they're starting to blow on another trail.
The lift operator training was next door to where I've been working. They had this mini ski lift with the actual buttons to show the employees how to work the buttons. I wanted to touch it, but I didn't want to get in trouble.
Heehee, here's the woolly mammoth. He got to ride on the first chair of the season.
Heehee, here he is on the lift. I couldn't stop giggling when I saw the woolly.
Unfortunately, my camera's battery died right after I took this picture, so I couldn't get a closer picture of the mammoth skiing. There are pictures of him getting huge air on his skis. It's crazy.
This weekend, it's all about snowboarding! Damn, can't believe Rutgers beat Louisville! (College football digression)
