good fucking riddance 2006. a shit of a year...though many grand and wonderful moments occurred in my minuscule existence, i felt overall small, useless, and confused for the majority of 2006. so i part ways with this long and topsy-turvy year hoping to leave a lot of those feelings behind...and with a twinkle of optimism in my left eye (the good one) for the coming 365 days.
to leave such feelings behind, it is important to recognize what it is that caused them...and oh, i know.
so by 2007's end, if a certain situation has not improved...i will be over it and refuse not to be. so there, have that, 2006.
and i will no longer work at bloomingdale's when the coming year ends. have that, too.
i'd like to spend some time in europe and maybe even check out a new continent.
perhaps most importantly, it is imperative that i embrace the rock star within...i thank you, liam gallagher, for opening my eyes to this simple method that makes day-to-day life tolerable. it is amazing how much better you feel just calling a cunt a cunt.
in general, i hope 2007 is a lot more fun than 2006 was (it had it's high points, but fuck, did it have it's low ones). that's the simple truth of it all.
this is a fucking downer in the end, isn't it? let's hope the next year's end is only depressing because 2007 will be so hard to top...
cheers, 2007.
