I drove to Rite Aid to get batteries. First, I froze my hands cleaning the car without gloves. Then I had fun sliding through a stop sign despite new tires and new brakes. Went shopping with sister. She bought a bunch of clothing for her new job. I found work-type trousers by Lee that feel like jeans but look like work clothes. And they fit. They fit, fit, fit. I just ordered a new camera.  I have given up on any chance that my existing camera will suddenly start working again.  I guess it really only has a life span of 5 years. 

I'm off today and tomorrow. There is a heat wave. 95°F/35°C at the moment (half past noon). I am dying. I went grocery shopping and was sweating and panting in the air conditioned store.
