So, I want to go shopping to pick up a few things. Regular things. Non-holiday-related things. Like a
vacuum because my
floors are just ick. And some
yarn because, apparently, one can never have enough yarn. *hides stash* However, it is the Saturday after Black Friday. There will be crowds and traffic and screaming children and, above all, Christmas music. Christmas music should never be played in November, There should be a law. I don't want to hear it until at least December 15th. Same with decorations. Seriously, folks.
OK, it looks like the vacuum I want is sold out and the sale was Friday only. Yes, it pays to read the fine print very large print on the sales flyer. Grrr... I really like the fold-away feature. And I have more than enough yarn. I hardly need to go shopping for more. There, I talked myself out of it. Now I can stay home and save money. And since I am saving money, maybe I can actually turn on the heat. Although I know I should really vacuum out the heat registers first because they haven't been cleaned since I stopped using heat last winter. But if I go out and buy a vacuum I won't be saving money. So I wouldn't want to splurge on heat. In which case clean radiators don't matter. See, I talked myself out of it again.
As I can no longer feel my fingers, I must stop typing and get some heat in this place.
