Violin Lessons
Yesterday I had my very first violin lesson. It was so fun! There is a cute girl down the street (daughter to the lady that let us borrow the 1/16 violin for Karissa and is also letting me borrow one of their full size ones) that is teaching me. She is so sweet to do it for free for the time being, even though I told her we could wait. She's let's see...about 15ish, I think, and we had a blast this afternoon. In fact, we didn't even realize that over an hour had gone by. hehe
She showed me how to hold the violin, how to place my fingers, how to hold the bow, and how to play 4 songs. :^) Now to just get my hands on a book so I can practice the 2 I didn't already know the tune too. Ashley thinks they have one I can use. Yea! Such fun! Now to just pick the piano back up, add the guitar, the clarinet, maybe the cello.... Instruments are so much fun!
