last night's family gathering in bellevue definitely put a lovely end to my recovery from the dreadful surgery. : ) several days prior to my illness, we were blessed to refamiliarize ourselves with our cousins from california (esther, david, his wife ginger, and his kids megan and taylor) as we spent four to five days shopping and dining together and just enjoying each other's presence. yesterday's outing consisted of, once again, very special cousins of mine, paul and sam, who drove down to bellevue with my aunt from bellingham. after eating gourmet dinner, my wonderful cousins, peter and dan, took all of us to the family fun center in renton so the kids could put their guards down and relax for once while the adults talked their night away. although paul and sam showed signs of awkwardness at first (since they hadn't seen us for a year!), hours of laser-tagging and playing video games served as the best ice-breaker and we were more than glad to re-live all the pleasant moments we shared as kids. good times! : ) hehe. what can i say - i LOVE my family!
