March Break : Done

Mar 19, 2010 08:56

This March Break, as every school holiday this year, has been strange.  I didn't have to work on report cards for once, which was nice. The only really different and good side to this March Break (as compared to previous years) was the fact that I wasn't walking around with my phone in my hand every waking minute of the day (and leaving it beside me during my sleeping hours, on my night table).  It was a complete week off, no worries.  I took advantage of my time.  Here's how my week looked:

Monday: Spent the whole day finishing off the office renos by putting everything back into the room and purging a lot of stuff.

Tuesday: Spent the majority of the day with Victoria, shopping, eating out and seeing "Alice in Wonderland".

Wednesday: Spent the majority of the day going through Calvin's old photo albums and putting them into new albums in chronological order (his mom wasn't the best at keeping these in order when he was young).  Also spent a bit of time with Zoey, looking at things in Dollarama while my mom went to a doctor's appointment.

Thursday: Spent all day with my hubby.  Went to Markstay and got our BUILDING PERMIT!!  (SO exciting!)  Went to Hanmer for an appraisal.  Went for a walk to Leon's and The Brick to look at furniture and appliances.

Friday: Going to spend the majority of the day with Victoria and Zoey (and my aunt, uncle and two cousins) swimming at the Sturgeon Falls pool and eating at McDonald's.  Should be a good time!

So, in all, it's been a pretty great week.  The weekend is still to come.  We are going to a Co-Ed Baby Shower tomorrow for Calvin's cousin and the STC on Sunday for Pay-What-You-Can matinee.  Before we know it, Monday will be back around the bend.  Another 3.5 months of supply work ahead.  Will I get a job in these last few months?  Probably not, and now, I don't even care anymore.  Let's just get this school year over with, scratch it as a loss and hope for better next year.  I'm ready for summer vacation.
