I am really enjoying this indefinite vacation. I sleep in daily, I leave the house to go to class, I am writing for NaNoWriMo, and I'm seeing Alex regularly! Well, my R*e*d L*o*b*s*t*e*r training is all done! I spent a hell of a lot of time from Tuesday to Saturday in the new restaurant learning all sorts of new things and reinforcing old things that I learned from waiting tables previously.

My theory is that from working so much, my brain is fried. I'm in school full time, I'm on the overtime warning list at work, and I'm learning the items on the menu so I can be tested on them. I worked last night until 11. Beats 1:20 in the morning, but not by much. Thankfully, class today is a sort of makeup day to get all of our work done, so I'm not going. I also have a cold, so I feel FABULOUS right now. >:(

I survived my first night of training to be a hostess. Hooray! I have actual work today and tomorrow as a busgirl, and then I train again on Tuesday night.
