Weekend was fun. We had a bonfire at Anne's on Friday and I actually made it to Homecoming on Saturday. (I almost didn't; Alex left the tickets at his house and we had to backtrack to get them.) I spent the night as well as Sunday with Alex, and now I'm at school, wishing I had more off-time

I felt like everyone was just bloody ignoring me today. What did I do, and when did I turn into Mrs. Cellophane?

I'd like to say that it was simply stupid miscreants who aren't worth my time that were paying me no mind, but even some of my close friends were turning a blind eye in my direction. Maybe I was overdramatizing.

So, the powers that be (a.k.a. some really, really warped minds in the senior class) managed to get Alex and me on the homecoming court ballot.

I have mixed feelings. I mean, on the one hand, it'd be hysterical if we won because we're not typical homecoming court material. Besides, Alex already ended up on the court in tenth grade with Heather.
