I'm going to West Virginia this weekend. I spent about an hour at work yesterday chatting with a waiter and waitress who were bored to death. I have two days left of my orientation class. Well, the day with NoVa Alex went quite well. Frighteningly well, in fact. He couldn't get in touch with Catherine, so after two hours of being in town and having nothing to do, he texted me to see what I was up to. Back to somewhat normalcy this week. I'm feeling better, I guess; the funeral did bring closure. Neck still feels weird, but oh well.

Alex and I hung out Sunday. I think I had scared him the day before, and he wanted to make sure I was okay. I was with Anne on Monday and Tuesday nights, and I spent the majority of last night on the phone.

The trip to the lake was lovely. We played many a game, went tubing, saw fireworks, and I managed not to drive Alex insane. Woo!

I'm chopping my hair off tomorrow.

I don't mean a simple trim. I mean a full-blown shampoo, side part, and hacked up to the shoulders-type chop when I leave school tomorrow afternoon.
