(no subject)
So I thought it was about time I did an update about my hols. I went to my grandparents house on Christmas Eve in the evening and spent a couple of hours with them, apart from that it was pretty uneventful.
On Christmas morning I got a phone call from my cousin asking me if I was free. Hmm what else would I be doing? They were going to my aunts dad's house in Nerima for a Christmas party and my aunts 2 sisters and their kids (my 2nd cousins) some of whom I've never met would be there so I decided to go. I had just gotten up when I got the phone call so my Christmas day was busy from then, I got up opened the boxes from my mom and wrapped my cousins/aunt/uncles presents that weren't wrapped and sorted them out, had lunch, went to the swimming pool, straight from the pool to my cousins house to deliver the presents and then from there to Nerima by car.
On boxing day my aunt, her older sister and 2 of my 2nd cousins Midori and Momo went shopping in Sunshine City in Ikebukuro. My aunt bought me a blue dress, a white cardigan/bolero, a pair of cute socks (black with purple butterflies on it) and a pair of kitten heels for Christmas.
I bought myself a pillow in the shape of an onigiri (rice ball), a girls tee from Super Lovers (I love that shop, they are having a New Years sales, yay!) a new battery for my digital camera (well I have been using it constantly for 3 years) and a hair dryer that blows out ions which means it doesn't damage your hair. My dad bought me that for Christmas but I bought another one because we are doing secret santa at my work and exchanging the gifts at our end of year party which is tomorrow.
What I got from my mom: a scarf that you can use as a shawl as well it moulds itself into different shapes/styles which is pretty cool, some underwear (well it is Christmas) reflexology insoles to put in shoes, a shoe notepad, and shoe magnets with a little poem on the front of the box: The Shoes of Salvation
Shoe: Look at me. Am I not wonderful?
Lady: You are the most wonderful shoe in the world. I fall to my knees and weep with pleasure when I am with you.
PAUSE
Lady: You are BEAUTY. You are TRUTH. In you I find my REDEMPTION.
Shoe: Thank you. You are a nice lady.
All in all not a bad Christmas. I love not having to go into Obirin. I could get used to this.
